Tras-Mec embodies values as tradition, innovation, strength and intuition. Founded more than 30 years ago, the company continues to foster solidity and effort among its employees, who find energy from its roots.
Tradition turns into innovation
The idea for Tras-Mec’s foundation was the result of Silvio Zanelli’s insight, who in 1978 decided to open a metal carpentry company, laying the foundations for the business to be established in 1986 along with two other partners.
The company, while initially focused on conveyor belts, began to specialize in the design and manufacture of biplanar chain conveyors, single rail and double rail, during the 1990s.
In the years that followed, Tras-Mec established its presence in several industrial fields such as painting, slaughtering, and clothing.
Zanelli’s daughters Claudia and Daniela have been running Tras-Mec since 2015, with Claudia becoming CEO. This moment marks the start of a family-run new era for Tras-Mec. As a result of the new generation’s energy, the company has been able to keep up with the times.
